June 08, 2021
If you are like us, you are just realizing that June 20th is fast approaching. Father’s Day is an opportunity to tell the dad, grandpa, or father figure in your life how much you appreciate him. As a lot of men can be very hard to shop for, we’ve created a list of ideas to help make Father’s Day extra special and leave lasting memories!
Show Dad How It Feels to be Pampered
As you might have already figured out -- bringing home a new baby is extremely stressful on both parents. Give your new dad a gift that will allow him to pamper himself, instead of “pampering” the baby. Trust us, even guys who generally dislike spa-like gifts can find comfort in a gift basket or collection of his favorite soaps, shaving cream, lotions, and colognes! If you want to take it up a notch, you may want to search to see if your area has a local men’s spa in which he can spend the day.
Plan a Family Game Night
If you are looking for guaranteed laughter and a way to spend quality time together, game night is the way to go. Playing games allows the family to step away from technology and engage in real conversations and friendly competition. Let dad pick the game and the junk food!
Make a Special Father’s Day Brunch
Make brunch extra special at home. Get the kids involved in creating the menu and work together to whip up some of dad’s favorite brunch treats. A good meal is the perfect way to start Father’s Day off right!
The Bazzle Baby Foodie Bib keeps your little one clean during a messy cooking session or meal. It even rolls up and buttons closed for easy clean up and storage!
At-Home Beer or Wine Tasting
Is dad a craft beer enthusiast or wino? This is a fun and easy stay at home event for both mom and dad to enjoy. Support your local liquor store or order specialty beers and wine online and let the sipping begin!
Trip Down Memory Lane
Images are great ways to illustrate just how much you love and appreciate the father he is with the captured moments of him with his bundle(s) of joy and serve as a reminder about how far he's come as a man, partner, and dad.
Time for You Two
While Father's Day is about celebrating your family, it's also about celebrating the guy who works hard for his family. Schedule some time for whatever he wants and enjoy some time with just the two of you.
We hope you enjoy celebrating the important men in your life. Happy Father’s Day!
