You're Doing a Good Job; Why Moms Need to Hear this More

Motherhood can be overwhelming and all-consuming, never mind being in the middle of a health pandemic. The reality in these "unprecedented times" is that most moms are acting as parent, professional, teacher, playmate, chef, partner, and more. Don't get me wrong, being a mom is amazing, but it looks a lot different right now and we might need a few more reminders that we are doing a good job.

I ran across this article from Honestly Mommy that really resonated with me while quarantined at home with my 7 month old and trying to balance being a wife, working professional, cook, maid, and mom. The biggest takeaway? Next time you see a mom struggling or looking flustered, tell her she's doing a good job. Because we need it.
